From 1st August 2025 the Open Table Network (OTN) will relocate to a new office in central Liverpool, less than two miles from where the first Open Table community began.
The move builds on a long partnership between OTN and Liverpool Parish Church (LPC), which has generously offered the new space for rent.
The initial lease is for six months (subject to review once the new parish Rector is in post). LPC is on Liverpool’s Pier Head, facing the iconic Liver Building. It is easy to reach by car or public transport.
LPC has supported OTN for many years and has co‑hosted multiple inclusive events with OTN, including:
Liverpool Loves You (May 2022): An LGBT+ solidarity event as an alternative celebration to US evangelist Franklin Graham’s visit to the city. READ MORE.
Open To All (Jan 2024): An art exhibition showcasing God’s inclusive love raising awareness and funds for OTN. READ MORE.
Remember With Us Pride Vigil (July 2025): A commemorative vigil co‑organised with OTN and Sahir, Liverpool City Region’s largest and oldest LGBTQ+ charity. READ MORE.
Starting from 1st August 2025, our Director Kieran will usually work from the office at Liverpool Parish Church Wednesday to Friday 9.30am-5pm.
This means moving OTN’s registered office away from the United Reformed Church (URC) Mersey Synod office which has offered generous hospitality since May 2023, following the charity’s URC Legacy Fund grant, its first from a national church.
Before that, OTN was based at St Bride’s Liverpool, which has hosted our first Open Table community since 2008, and continues to do so. St Bride’s was OTN’s registered office since it became a charity in March 2021.
OTN Director Kieran Bohan said:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Liverpool Parish Church for their ongoing partnership, and the URC Mersey Synod for their support for the last two years, which has been a significant period of growth and change for the charity. This move will enable OTN to sustain that growth with more space to expand its leadership team and host trustee meetings, plus regional and national gatherings for our communities.
Revd Michelle Montrose, Assistant Priest at Liverpool Parish Church, said:
It is our pleasure to welcome the Open Table Network to their office in our church. We hope this will continue to strengthen our bonds with the LGBTQIA+ community and reinforce our message that everyone without exception is welcome at Liverpool Parish Church.
