Moving support thanks to national church funding

WE HAVE MOVED to a new office this month, thanks to support from the United Reformed Church (URC).
OTN received news of a grant from the URC in March 2023, the largest grant we have received to date, and the first from a national church.
One of the first fruits of this investment in our growing charity was an offer to explore how the URC’s support might be more than financial. This led to an offer of office support from the URC Mersey Synod regional office in Liverpool.
Starting this month, our Coordinator Kieran will work from this office for around three days a week, usually Wednesday to Friday 9.30am-3.30pm.
This means moving our registered office away from St Bride’s Liverpool, which has hosted our first Open Table community since 2008, and continues to do so. We look forward to celebrating our 15th birthday there in June. St Bride’s has been our registered office since OTN became a charity in March 2021.
Open Table Network Coordinator Kieran Bohan said:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community at St Bride’s for their generous hospitality and commitment to inclusion which has made this phenomenal journey possible, from one Open Table community to 33 and rising over the last eight years. This would not have happened without allies like you, who have welcomed, included, affirmed and empowered us to make it happen, with God’s help.
