LIVERPOOL is the home of the Open Table Network, and about a fifth of our communities are on Merseyside, so we make the most of Pride In Liverpool to raise awareness that there are communities which genuinely welcome & affirm LGBTQIA+ people.

This year's theme is 'Be Heard', recognising that this year it is ever more important to ensure we, and those less visible in our communities, have our voices heard.

The LCR Pride Foundation, organisers of Pride In Liverpool, says:

For too many years we have only seen LGBT+ rights in the UK get worse by being ignored or removed. Lots of work is needed to reverse some of this backtracking and put LGBT+ rights back on the right path. More than ever, allyship is needed. Both from those outside of our community, but also from within. We are a diverse community and that’s what should be used to unite us, not divide. Allyship relies on us empathising and trying to understand differences, even if we have not been through it ourselves.

Why not show your solidarity and join us?
