GOD’S LOVE for each of us - and all of us - is at the centre of a painting exhibition which is coming to Chelmsford in August.

Fine artist and theologian Elizabeth Gray King will be showing 13 intriguing and affirming canvases, exploring the equality and inclusivity of God’s love, at Christ Church on New London Rd in the city.

For love of resurrection, Revd. Elizabeth, whose insights arise from being both an artist and an ordained minister, is currently working alongside the Open Table Network [OTN]. OTN is a national charity which works to urge and facilitate a wider, safer, authentic inclusion for LGBT+ people across all UK churches.

Exhibition launch:

On Monday 12th August 7pm-8.30pm, the exhibition launch will include a chance to meet and hear from the artist, plus Revd Dr Alex Clare-Young, Patron, and Sarah Hobbs, Co-Chair of the Open Table Network.

Exhibition opening hours:

  • Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th 12pm-7pm

  • Saturday 17th 10am-4pm

  • Monday 19th to Friday 23rd 12pm-7pm

in addition to Christ Church’s usual opening times for services.
