Come As You Are

You’re more than welcome here

In 2016, St James’ Church, West Hampstead, London, began hosting a Christian worship community that genuinely welcomes and affirms people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA+), as part of the Open Table Network.*

Since then there have been a number of changes in leadership, and the challenges of Covid, and it’s time for a review. We’d love you to join us to reflect together on the kind of experience we want to continue to create, so everyone feels welcome, included, affirmed, and empowered in this community. The aim is to relaunch the community in February 2024.

Open Table Network Director Kieran Bohan, and Fr Robert Thompson from the Parish of St Mary’s Kilburn with St James West Hampstead, will guide the conversation. Please do join us at St James’ sister church, St Mary’s, Kilburn, on Thursday 18th January to help us discern the way ahead. The meeting will take place in the parish room - the entrance is at the back of the church.
