YOU ARE more than welcome to join us for our FREE national gathering!

LGBTQIA+ people are a gift to the church and the world, but are often treated less than equally.

Equity for LGBTQIA+ people means recognising our circumstances and accessing the resources and opportunities we need to reach our full potential.

Our national gathering is a place to celebrate our diversity, share our stories, grow in confidence and be inspired to seek the equity we deserve.

READ MORE about what we mean by ‘more than equal’.

We’re also celebrating 15 years of our first community & 8 years since we became a network.

Our More Than Equal logo includes the new Progress Pride Flag.

Over the years the original rainbow flag has been redesigned, to better represent and reflect more communities. Black and brown stripes represent diverse ethnicities. Pink, pale blue and white stripes represent the trans community, and those living with HIV.

‘The arrow points to the right to show forward movement, while being along the left edge shows that progress still needs to be made.’

Designer of the Progress Pride flag Daniel Quasar.

In 2021, a yellow triangle and purple circle to represent the intersex community were added.

Our logo is a sign that we want everyone to feel more than welcome!
