Stories Around An Open Table - Our Tell, Serve Give event for Bishops In Mission 2019
LAST WEEKEND around 80 people gathered to celebrate the growth of the Open Table Network as part of the Church of England Diocese of Liverpool's turn to host Bishops In Mission, an initiative of the Archbishop of York where each Diocese in the north of England hosts visiting teams headed by northern bishops.
Diocese of Bangor reaches out to the LGBTI+ Community
FOLLOWING the Inauguration of the LGBTI+ Chaplaincy in the Diocese of Bangor at St. Mary’s Menai Bridge on 22nd May 2017 by the Right Reverend Andy John, Bishop of Bangor, this new Chaplaincy has held services in Menai Bridge and Cricieth.
Stepping out onto the border: Bishop Paul returns to Open Table Liverpool
AT THE FIRST Open Table community in Liverpool in August, the Bishop of Liverpool, Rt Revd Paul Bayes, gave a reflection on ‘a story of increasing love and boundaries crossed’, following his experience of walking with the Christians At Pride group at the city’s Pride festival in July.

The UK’s first LGBTQIA+ chaplaincy officially launched
THE UK’S FIRST LGBTQIA+ chaplaincy has been officially launched by the Church In Wales Bishop of St Asaph. It will host monthly Open Table communion services for LGBTQIA+ Christians in north-east Wales starting in January 2017.
Open Table Liverpool community leaders receive Bishop's commission for LGBT+ ministry
ON PALM SUNDAY, 20th March, Archdeacon of Liverpool Ricky Panter commissioned two new Local Missional Leaders (LMLs) in recognition of their ministry with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Christians across the Diocese of Liverpool.
