Your pledge this month could double the impact of your Christmas donation
GOOD NEWS - the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest match-funding campaign, is back!
Last year, thanks to your support, we met our target and raised £11,000 in one week.*
That funding helped us:
create safer sacred spaces for LGBTQIA+ people
train and support inclusive church leaders
grow the Open Table Network.
We’re taking part again this year - and we need your help.
If you’d like to support us, there are two ways to get involved - but you can only choose one.
Which one is right for you?
Option 1: Make a pledge now (by 5pm on Friday 29th August 2025)
Your pledge helps us unlock match funding so that donations made in December can be doubled.
✅ For organisations or individuals giving £100 or more
✅ You’ll be asked to fulfil your pledge between 9th December 2025 and 6th January 2026 (you don't have to pay anything now, just make the pledge before 29th August.)
🚫 If you make a pledge, you cannot also make a donation in December but you can help us by sharing the campaign!
Pledges are perfect for churches, Open Table communities, other organisations or individuals who want to help get our campaign off to a flying start!

Option 2: Donate during the Big Give Christmas Challege campaign week
If you’re an individual wanting to donate anything less than £100 - your time comes in December!
✅ For individuals only
✅ Donations can be made between midday on Tuesday 2nd December to midday Tuesday 9th December 2025.
✅ Every donation made during this week will be doubled (while match funding lasts)
🚫 Organisations cannot donate

* Last year we had £2,500 in pledges, which helped us secure a further £2,500 from the Together Trust (our 'Champion’).
In the donation week we raised just over £5,000 in donations and with Gift !id this came to £11,000.
