WE’RE DELIGHTED to introduce our new treasurer, Natasha Maria Gonsalves - a finance professional with a heart for inclusion.

Natasha brings fresh energy, insight, and compassion to this vital role, helping the Open Table Network grow sustainably and continue its life-changing mission.

For Natasha, finance is about more than balance sheets and statements - it’s about trust, accountability, and enabling communities to thrive in ways that truly serve people.

From India to the UK

Natasha graduated in 2025 with a first-class degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Management from Liverpool Hope University, completing her final year through a credit transfer from Christ University, Bangalore.

Alongside her studies, she gained valuable experience in both corporate and education settings - from auditing and compliance during her finance internship in India, to a student-facing role at an English language school in Liverpool.

In her introduction video Natasha reflects:

‘These experiences have shown me how meaningful finance can be when it supports communities and creates opportunities’.

Why the treasurer role matters

As treasurer, Natasha plays a vital part in the good governance of the Open Table Network (OTN) charity. She has begun workinmg with our Board of Trustees to ensure that the Open Table Network remains financially healthy, transparent, and compliant, and supporting our Director with financial planning and reporting.

It’s an important role that helps ensure OTN can grow sustainably - continuing to support and sustain a network of inclusive Christian communities across the UK.

Our treasurer helps make sure the resources we’re trusted with are used wisely, so that every Open Table community can flourish and more people can find safer, sacred, and supportive spaces where they are truly welcome, included, affirmed and empowered.

Drawn to a mission of inclusion

In her introduction video Natasha explains:

‘What drew me to the Open Table Network was its mission to offer safe, inclusive and affirming spaces where everyone is truly welcome. To be part of that mission, in even a small way, feels very special to me.’

Natasha sees her role not only as managing numbers, but as helping to sustain the work of a community where people can find belonging, hope, and dignity.

Supporting growth with purpose

Natasha approaches her new role as both a learning journey and an opportunity to give back. She’s excited to support OTN’s growth and impact by combining her professional skills with the cause she deeply believes in.

OTN Director Kieran Bohan said:

We’re thrilled to have Natasha on board, helping to nurture the financial well-being of the Open Table Network - and the flourishing of the inclusive communities we serves.

Together, we look forward to a future of sustainable growth, greater inclusion, and wider impact across our network.
