Give the gift of hope, peace, joy & love this Advent

Open Table helps create loving spaces where LGBTQIA+ people of faith belong safely. As more people hear of us, there’s much more work to do. If you value the Open Table Network please share our Christmas Crowdfunder, and give if you are able. Thank you!

29th NOVEMBER is Giving Tuesday - a day that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

It’s also the first week of Advent, but what’s Advent all about?

This 2 minute video explains the significance of this special season in the Church. Each week has a theme. We'll be sharing short reflections [two minutes or less] reflections each week from one of the Open Table Network trustees.

The theme of the first week is Hope.

'Open Table gives others hope of a better future, hope of an inclusive church, hope of a God who continues to love us over and over and over'.

Open Table Network trustee Augustine explains how he has found hope in our communities. WATCH HERE.

‘This is genuine, this is hopeful, if only every church could be like this.’

Today you can help support LGBTQIA+ people to find a safe, welcoming community where they can thrive. We're launching our Advent Appeal, following the four weekly themes - Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.

If 500 people give £10 each by the end of 2022, OTN can continue to offer hope, peace, joy and love to LGBTQIA+ people of faith in 2023. A gift of any size will really make a difference.

UPDATE Tuesday 3rd January 2023: This crowdfunder was due to finish at 6pm today. As we're still in the Christmas season until Epiphany on 6th January, we've extended our Crowdfunder deadline until 6pm THIS FRIDAY to give a little more time to get closer to our target. READ MORE.
