GOD’S LOVE for each of us - and all of us - is at the centre of a painting exhibition which is coming to Newport from mid-May to mid-June.

Fine artist and theologian Elizabeth Gray King will be showing 13 intriguing and affirming canvases, exploring the equality and inclusivity of God’s love, at Newport Cathedral.

For love of resurrection, Revd. Elizabeth, whose insights arise from being both an artist and an ordained minister, is currently working alongside the Open Table Network [OTN]. OTN is a national charity which works to urge and facilitate a wider, safer, authentic inclusion for LGBT+ people across all UK churches.

Exhibition launch:

On Sunday 19th May after the 10.30am service at Newport Cathedral, the exhibition launch will include speeches from the artist and Right Revd Cherry Vann, Bishop of Monmouth and Patron of the Open Table Network.

Exhibition opening hours:

8am-5pm Sunday to Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, in addition to Newport Cathedral’s usual opening times for services.
