Trans-formations: Whatever next? Why trans theology matters

  • St Bride's Church Percy Street Liverpool L8 7LT United Kingdom (map)

Join us to mark the end of Trans Awareness Week as the Revd Dr Alex Clare-Young debunks myths about trans people and theology, introducing their upcoming book and exploring why trans theology by trans people matters.

Come along if you want to lift up trans voices, celebrate trans lives and learn more about what's next for trans theology.

Alex is a URC minister, author, co-chair of the Open Table Network, a trustee of Inclusive Church, a consultant for OneBodyOneFaith, and member of Creating Sanctuary.

Stay on for a Communion Service at 6.30pm led by the Revd Dr Alex Clare-Young as we mark Trans Day of Remembrance (TdoR). This is a day when people all over the world remember those who have been killed as a result of transphobia.

Come along and join your voice and prayers with ours, remembering those who have died, and recommitting ourselves to building a world where all can be free of violence and to live authentic lives.

YOU ARE more than welcome to come as you are. For more info, please email liverpool@opentable.lgbt.
