Vocation is a queer thing: Exploring your calling as an LGBTQIA+ Christian

  • St Bride's Church, Percy Street Liverpool, England, L8 7LT United Kingdom (map)

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES this event has been postponed. Watch this space for details of a new date in early 2022.

Have you heard church folk use the world ‘vocation’ to talk about their ministry or profession?

Vocation means ‘calling’ – it’s our response to a call from beyond ourselves to our strengths and gifts to make the world a better place through service, creativity, and leadership.

LGBTQIA+ people have so many gifts to offer, and yet the church can struggle to receive those gifts.

Come along on Monday 15th November (in person at St Bride’s Liverpool, or on Zoom) to hear from a panel of people, ordained and not ordained, LGBTQIA+ and allies, as they share their experiences of exploring their vocation. Together we’ll also discuss the opportunities and the unique challenges to exploring your vocation as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Each of us has a calling, what’s yours?

Hosted by Open Table Liverpool.
