A statistic from the OTN Research & Case For Support 2021

Since 2018, the Open Table Network has been an active partner in Gathering Voices, a collaboration of Christian organisations that encourage churches to be fully inclusive and affirming of all people without regard of gender and sexuality.

Previewing this year’s conference exploring one of Gathering Voices’ key values: ‘Offer sanctuary and be a safe space’, a live 30-minute YouTube Premiere will be published on the Gathering Voices YouTube channel.

The video includes contributions from:

  • the Open Table Network (OTN), sharing evidence of the need and impact of safe sacred spaces for LGBTQIA+ Christians, based on our Research & Case For Support 2021

  • OTN trustee Revd Julian Hollywell, on the concept of ‘sanctuary’ in the Bible

  • Young people from Diverse Church, which provides pastoral care to support and encourage LGBT+ Christians to grow in their faith, who offer creative responses to the theme of sanctuary through poetry, visual art, music and story.

Please subscribe to the Gathering Voices YouTube channel and don’t forget to click the bell if you want notifications!

REGISTER NOW for the Gathering Voices conference on Saturday 23rd October 2-5.
