The front cover of OTN’s 2022 Annual Report, showing highlights of the year from across our network

The Open Table Network (OTN) has a proud history of supporting LGBTQIA+ people. This year, the charity celebrates 15 years since its first community began in Liverpool in 2008.

In our newly published 2022 annual report, you’ll discover:

  • the words of more than 250 people explaining what Open Table means to them:

accepted, belonging, embraced, real, unconditional love, valued…

and much more.

  • how our network has grown: ten new communities in 2022 bringing true welcome and acceptance to LGBTQIA+ people in more areas of England and Wales.

  • how Open Table is much more than a church service: It offers a safe community where LGBTQIA+ people can grow in faith and confidence. We resource churches and other organisations seeking to support LGBTQIA+ people and to speak out against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.

The comment of one of our members expresses beautifully the impact of our work in the last year:

In March 2021, the Open Table Network became a charity. Every year, charities have to send a report to The Charity Commission to show that they’re doing everything they’re supposed to do, and not doing anything they’re not supposed to do. Our full report for OTN in 2022 is available to all on the Charity Commission website.
