Open Table is an ecumenical Christian worship community which offers a warm welcome to people who are:
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA)
and all who seek an inclusive Church.
Open Table aims to create a safe sacred space for you to explore your faith and what it means for you. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, you are welcome here.
Open Table is for Christians who are here, who will not go away, and who simply ask to be recognised and accepted. Our vision is of a world where LGBTQIA+ people are fully included within our church traditions and communities. Until then, we will continue to nurture safe, sacred, sacramental, sustainable space where LGBTQIA+ Christians can 'come as you are'.
Open Table began in Liverpool in June 2008. Now Open Table communities gather across the UK, hosted by inclusive churches. Click here to read a brief history of Open Table, published in Journeys in Grace and Truth, edited by Jayne Ozanne, June 2016.

Have your say on the future of the Open Table network
Following a fruitful meeting on Saturday 10th August to consider the future governance and sustainability of the Open Table Network, it was agreed that the Open Table network would begin the process of becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) by the end of the current financial year in March 2020, if possible. The group of network representatives with voluntary sector experience which met at St Bride’s Liverpool, home of the first Open Table community, drafted this document for consultation with Open Table community leaders and participants. Please read, share with your Open Table community, and send feedback, no later than 30th September 2019, either by post to Kieran Bohan, Open Table Network Co-oordinator, St Bride’s Church, Percy Street, Liverpool L8 7LT, or by email via the ‘Contact us’ button below - Thank you!
